2300 miles on an 86? For $800? Was the seller
on drugs, or is the bike in bad shape, or
something? If not you got a hell of a deal, my wife is
envious. We spent that on her 87 450 Rebel, and it only
held up for about 2000 miles.
As for the speedo cover, I assume you mean the
tank top housing. As far as I know, you won't find
it in chrome. If you send me your old one, I can
patch and paint it. Let me know.
